Eliminate the catalysts that create Free Fatty Acids (FFA’s) and Total Polar Compound’s (TPC’s)

The Oberlin Filter provides ultra-fine filtration thereby eliminating the catalysts for Free Fatty Acid (FFA) and Total Polar Compound (TPC) growth. Product taste and shelf life are enhanced with the use of the Oberlin Filter.

When frying products with a high moisture content, FFA’s will increase – sometimes rapidly. The Oberlin Filter provides ultra-fine filtration that can remove Free Fatty Acids (FFA’s) and Total Polar Compounds (TPC’s) to bring your oil back to its virgin quality so it can be continually reused.

FFA Removal Benefits

Extremely Clean Oil and Dry Filtered Solids

The Oberlin Filter will provide your fryer with a very clean supply of oil online during production or offline in a batch filtration process.  Crumbs, fines and flour are automatically dried inside of the filter and discharged into a bin for easy disposal.

Online Filtration for Continuous Crumb/Flour Removal

In this process the Oberlin Filter operates online during production to remove crumbs, fines and flour from your fryer.  In some applications FFAs are removed as well.
