Pneumatic Enclosure Assembler

Oberlin Filter Company is looking to hire a Pneumatic Assembler to join our team. Please see below for more information about the position. 

​

Essential Job Duties:

• Threaded plumbing of pipes up to 2 inches

• Assemble pneumatic racks and plumbing on filtration system

• Cutting & gluing PVC pipe up to 2 inches

• Assembling plumbing components onto pumps & filter units

• Reading Technical Prints, Schematics, & 3-D Drawings

• Utilize jib and overhead crane with engineering controls for your environmental health and safety

 

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in a plumbing shop environment

• Able to read measuring devices 

• Assemble threaded pipe

• TIG Welding Experience 

• Certified to a moderate level of skill and knowledge to ensure compliance to standards and specifications.

• Excellent critical thinking & problem solving skills

• Understand written and verbal English

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day

• Age 18 or older

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
