Job description
Oberlin Filter is currently looking to hire an Inventory Controller to join our team. Please see below for more information about the position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Operates equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Follow continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards

Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner (FIFO)

Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.

Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom employees or shop employees regarding inventory procedures

Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.

Pack/unpack items to be stocked on shelves in inventory stockroom
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Requires a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Critical thinking & problem solving skills
-
Understand written and verbal English
-
Able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day

Age 18 or older

Ability to use basic hand tools

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
