Industrial Spray Painter's Helper

Oberlin Filter Company is looking for a new Industrial Spray Painter’s Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated and ready to adapt to a changing workday. A successful candidate will be someone who is responsible and hard-working.

Job Summary:

  • Prep metals by cleaning, sanding and masking

  • Use spray guns and sandblasting equipment

  • Work on ladders as high as 10 ft.

  • Read and interpret instructions and documentation

  • Mix and match paint per instructions.

  • Use overhead cranes to place product on racks

  • Clean up after projects and perform other varied duties as instructed by supervisor

 

A Successful Candidate will:

  • Have one year minimum work experience

  • Have High School diploma or equivalent

  • Understand written and verbal English

  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Want to work overtime

  • Observe and comply with all safety regulations

  • Wear respirator and specialized protective equipment as needed

  • Age 18 and older
